Menu for Friday, January 15th and Saturday, January 16th

January 11, 2010 · Leave a Comment

Hi Pie People,

Thanks for coming by!

Menu is the same this week, but there’s one big bit of news to let you know about.

Alameda Pie will be delivering for the next four weeks and then closing up shop after the routes on Friday, February 5th and Saturday, February 6th. It’s been a lot of fun making pies and bringing them around to all you folks out there, but the hours and overhead involved in transitioning from home baking business to commercial baking business were just not feasible. If you liked Alameda Pie, I really encourage you to seek out the other folks in the Bay Area who are running carts and trucks and other local food businesses. They’re working incredibly hard to do something they love. Take advantage of the great food they have to offer.

Thanks so much for all the great responses and kind words these last several months. Like I said, it’s been a lot of fun. And I’d like to think of the last few weeks of Alameda Pie as fun, too. Let’s go out with a bang, pie people!  If you’ve ordered before, order your favorites again before they go away. If you’ve been meaning to order, but haven’t, now’s the time!

For this last set of runs, I’m going to keep the delivery area to East Bay only, but everything else is pretty much the same. Order some pies, I bake them and bring them to where you are.

If you’ve got a big event in the future that needs pies shoot me an email and maybe we can figure something out, but by and large this is your last chance to have a delicious homemade pie show up on your doorstep. Doesn’t some pie sound tasty right now?

Yay! Pie!

Order this week by emailing alamedapie@gmail.com by Tuesday, January 12th by 10pPM for delivery on Friday or Saturday. All the other details you need  are below…
